Roadies who find themselves on rough surfaces will undoubtedly welcome the way the material takes the shock out of their hands and maintains feeling in their fingers.
I've used the 2.5 and the 3.2, both seem to wear rapidly at the bend of the bar near the hoods where it sees more use. You aren't supposed to stretch the tape, but it's difficult not to stretch it a little to get it to conform to the bar and not slip. I re-wrapped the last tape job in a way that was enough to hide the worn areas underneath the bar in order to double the mileage. The third time around I've gone back to the 2.5 which is a little less bulky but still cushioned enough. The tactile pattern and consistency is grippy and doesn't seem slick when wet. I haven't tried cleaning it because I use black. LS's has been my favorite handlebar tape, having tried Specialized, Cinelli cork and gel cork, and Bontrager, which are also all very good. Even though it is expensive and wears faster than I'd like I'd probably stick with them again. I can get a full season to season and a half out of a wrap.
The surface of this tape is tacky, different from most cork tapes. Two long gravel rides on this tape and I wish I'd bought this a long time ago. The grippy surface seems to take less hand effort to hold the bars on washboard and rough sections.
The tape shredded after just a few rides. Would not purchase this brand again.
Very good handlebar tape, great grip.
High quality tape with a nice grippy feel. Easy to wrap. Looks god on the bike.
I've tried lots of tape, this is my favorite. Can be a little slippery when wet with bare hands, but the pros outweigh the cons for me.

Love this bar tape. I have it on all three of my bikes. Comfortable and durable.
This tape is grippy and comfortable. Some of the best tape I've put on the bars! And cool looking to boot!
Easy to apply and comfy
Road riding/racing
I replaced the gel tape on my Felt with this and although more expensive than most I was going it would be really good. It is thick and grippy, looks great and provides some isolation for road Buzz. I really like it, found it too hold up as well as any other tape I have used and cleans up decent. I would recommend this tape to any one. It is on sale alot and I really like the dual color for additional customization.
Nice tackiness and dampening of the roadway vibrations. Easy to clean. Worth the extra money over the typical bar tape.
I have had this product for over a month now doing several rides a week and a hard time trial every two weeks. The Lizard skins bar tape performed well dampening the hard shocks of these poor Montana roads. The instructions were very helpful and the tape was easy to apply. There is just enough tack on the tape to provide a good grip and the color is right. I would recommend this product to anyone.
This stuff rocks. The 2.5mm is a perfect thickness giving some cushion without making your bars feel like overstuffed sausages. And this tape is super grippy. No more white knuckling the bars on steep mountain descents. Absolutely the best grip of any tape I've ever used. I'll be a DSP user from now on. I really don't understand the negative reviews. Some have commented on the inability to keep clean (rubbing alcohol works just fine for that) and some questioned its durability, but I've not had any issues after 1500mi. Disclaimer I replace my tape every season.
Works great. Black gloves stain the white tape. Rubbing alcohol and a terry cloth rag removes most of the stains and restores the sticky feeling to the tape.
I love this stuff. Perfect tackiness, easy to clean, and lasts all racing season.
Comfortable, good grip. You don't even need gloves on to get a proper grip. Very durable, way better than cork tape. Beautiful colors too.
Very comfortable, easy to apply. Holds up well.
