When gloves aren't enough and it gets very hot and sweaty out this is the bar tape you want on your bars.
There are other bar wraps out there that are soft, stretchy and sticky like Liz Skins DSP, but none quite as good. This stuff sets the bar high(so to speak) and delivers on spec. Very soft, and it offers a phenomenally good grip when your sweat, or rain is soaking the bar. Two downsides Obviously the cost and secondly, it will wear out visibly faster than most other products. I don't care, I still like it.
If you don't use gloves and have sweaty palms, then this tape is for you. I like the lightly padded tape that gives me a more natural grip to the handle bars. This seems to alleviate the hand numbness that many of us suffer from. A little more expensive but I believe that it is well worth it.
Felt great at first, but after fewer than 50 rides the colored top layer started peeling off the tape in the high contact area near the brake hoods. It's back to Cinelli tape for me.
I really liked this tape when I first put it on, but in with less than 50 rides, it has worn through the top layer near both brake hoods. It is on our tandem, which my wife & I ride only once or twice a week, so it isn't subject to constant use. It's been many years since I've seen tape that poor.
It's back to Cinelli bar tape for me from now on
Just sticky enough to feel in control but not too much even in the rain. I like the 2.5 where as my stoker prefers the 3.2 for a bit more cushion.
The Lizard Skins DSP 2.5mm handlebar tape works well for me. It is easy to install, gives some road cushioning, but is not thick enough to be a problem when gripping the handlebar.

This is the best tape that I have ever used. It is soft and stays soft. Also, it's color does not rub off onto your gloves. It helps cushion the ride.
Have had several colors on various bikes. Looks great. Feels even better. Great product.
I use the blue and tangerine. The blue color holds up well. The tnagerine fades quickly but still is comfortable.
Super easy to install. Love the tacky, yet cushioned feel of the tape. So far it seems to be very durable. Will be using it on all my bikes.

This is sticky and comfortable handlebar tape. Its got the right mix of price, longetivity, comfort and stickiness. I couldn't recommend this more.

Replaced 3 year old factory installed bar tape with this Lizard Skins based on reviews here and other sites. So far the cushion is good, not bulky. The tacky feel is enough to have a good positive grip. Installation was straight forward. Very satisfied with this purchase.
The feel of the tape is a matter of preference. My wife and son both use on their road bikes and state that they like it. Neither have used it in the rain, yet.
I attempt to get a full season (7,200 mi.) out of my bar tape . It goes on well and feels great,looks good but wears easily.I have two wear holes from my gloves in the six months of use including much down time due to ice and snow this past winter here in NY.
It's a little pricey, but, for me, this is near perfection for bar tape. It's grippy, cushy, comfortable, and lasts for years.
As a bit of a bar tape nerd I have to say that Lizard Skins 2.5 bar tape is some of the nicest I've used when it comes to installation. I LOVE how long each roll is and you'll never end up short, even with wide bars. It also just goes on super smooth and can be re-wraped if needed without any issues. The hand feel on this tape is great and the color options are excellent. I don't have enough time on it to rate the value beyond Good Deal at this point but if it holds up well I'd change my value rating to 5 stars.
