I like that it cleans the chain as excess is wiped off. Doesn't attract much grit.
Works well
I have been using ProGold ProLink Chain Lubricant for years. I have it to be best among lubricants.
I have been using this product for about 5 years now, I have tried others but will stick to this product.
Easy to use and practical
Great lube for chains, does not attract dirt and keeps shifting smooth!
Keeps chain lubed well, does not attract dirt, smooth shifting!
Use it mainly on the chain and it's very light, but also use it on all pivot points and springs as light coating. used it inside the hub body on my Mavic rear wheel and it worked perfectly
This stuff works great. It's fluid enough to get into the chain's nooks and crannies.
I ride and commute all year in all conditions. I clean the chain often, but not as often as I could. This lube works for me.
Great product, better than others I have used.
lube and cleans the chain all at once
I Try to lube after every ride of at leAst 1 hr. Seems to extend chain life!
Works great. I clean and lube my chain every 100 miles (once a week). ProGold does a great job at both cleaning and lubing.
I have used ProLink Gold on all of our bikes (4 singles and a tandem) for a few years. In this dry area it is really good at cleaning and protecting our chains.
I've been using ProLink for years and get over 2,500 miles on my chains. Easy to use, just drip it on the chain and wipe it off. No gunky build up or residue. I can run a realy clean drivechain with this product. 4oz lasts a long time.
I had never used this lube before, but had heard good things about it, so I thought I'd give it a try. I think I'll use it exclusively now. It holds up well and seems to stay fairly clean. It actually seems to push some of the old grime out when you apply. The nozzle is good and doesn't over apply product. Just apply, wait a bit and wipe down and your good to go. I don't often ride in wet conditions so I don't know how it would hold up there. Whenever I get caught in the wet, I usually clean my bike right after and re-lube anyway.
I use this for city riding and touring. It keeps the chain lubed for quite some time. I ride my city bike almost everyday and have to re-lube it every 2-3 weeks with this product. I think it depends on how much it rains. It also really gets the filth out when wiping the chain after application.
I've been using ProLink for over 10 years, ever since Uncle Al recommended it in the Road Bike Rider newsletter. It is the best all round oil I've ever used, for all conditions rain or shine. It's long lasting and collects little road grime.
I commute to the train station year round and need a good chain lube. It does a good job keeping my chain lubed- much better than the wax-based lubes. The only negative aspect is that it does not last too long, especially if it gets wet. I usually lube my chain once a week.
