I've only done a few rides in these, but so far I've been very impressed. Most bibs in this price range have a cheap chammy and simple construction. These are as nice as any shorts I've used including ones that cost over twice the price. The fabric is very stretchy and provides excellent compression in the quads and great fit everywhere. The pad isn't super thick and at first I thought it wasn't going to provide enough padding, but even after a couple 80 mile rides, I didn't notice any issues. Fit seems similar to Pearl Izumi or Louis Garneau in size large. I'll definitely be buying more of these.
Picked up a pair of these to replace some castelli bibs that i've had for a few seasons. I liked the castellis but overall I'm happier with these so far. The material feels more durable and the compression is great. The size medium is a bit tighter than the medium castellis, but probably only due to the compression band. The chamois is comfortable also, I'm looking forward to getting a few really long rides in them and seeing how they hold up.
I'm picking up a second pair.
Ive been using a top Italian brand for many years. The ProCorsa have surpassed the fit and comfort level. The chamois is extremely comfortable on 3 hour rides.
Really nice, well made, and comfortable. M fits well at 5'9160. Also - like all of the ProCorsa gear - the logos are very subtle, which is important to me as well.
I have used several different brands and I think the longevity and value is awesome.
I have ridden in them 4 times and each time i was very satisfied with the comfort of the shorts. No long rides yet but expect them to continue the good fit and ride comfort. Very good bib for the price
Good solid bibshort. It may run just a bit on the small side compared to some bib shorts. I am stockier than some cyclists, at 57 and 165 lbs, and the large bib fits me fine.
Freddie's follow up to my 342016 review, standing by it. I am still wearing the same Bib that I reviewed, must say I am happy I stayed with them.
I think they are the Rogue's because my Chamois looks a little different from that pictured on the McKenzie's. I roll on the Selle SMP saddle and have noticed added comfort with the ProCorsa Chamois. I will purchase again, they are holding up better than some of my higher dollar ones. I'll be sure to buy McKenzie's.
I bought a pair of these bibs to take on a seven day mountain bike trip. I alternated days with these bib shorts and a pair of Assos bib shorts. We had some long days in the saddle, up to six to eight hours. The ProCorsa bibs were just as comfortable as the Assos. These bibs do run a little smallshort. I ordered my usual size, medium, I am 5'11 - 150 lbs. The cut was as little shorter than other bibs, but I liked that as I wore baggy shorts over them. I like the band on the bottom of the short as the compression feels good. The chamois was great for the long days. These are a great value, especially when purchased on sale.
Let me start by saying that these are primo quality and super comfortable. From the fabric to the chamois, everything is top notch with durable construction. And no lame silicone grippers to tug on hairs of non-shavers. When you factor in Western's pricing (they always seem to be on sale) these are really hard to beat.
read reviews, based sizing on that and missed badly. I'm 200lbs, just under 6'-0 (32 inseam, 35 waist) and can't possibly wear the XL. The 2XL is snug but comfortable, and still just barely long enough to match my torso. Leg length is not excessive - actually the shortest of all my XL gear. Some companies think XL means XLong-tall, but not in this product. Pad is one of the best I've used. At close out prices, this is a tremendous bargain. Consider stocking up.
great fit over all but the legs are a bit short for my preference they come to mid-thigh on me ... comfortable for longer rides
Didn't quite work for me.
Chamois too narrow, and I use a fairly narrow saddle,
and camel toe in front. Also legs a bit short.
YMMV.
These are may favorite bib shorts. Nice compression, hold up over time, great price.
Best bibs ever owned
These bib shorts are comfortable and functional for the price. Seems like the stitching is very strong. The chamois padding is good took me a couple of rides to get used to maybe there is a breakin period. Overall would recommend.
Have been using these bibs on a regular basis for the past 2 years. I just bought another and they were a screaming deal when on sale.
The chamois has retained its shape and feel after several dozen washes and multiple hour long rides and even a few cyclocross races.
I purchased two pairs of these bib shiorts and both pairs did not hold up well for more than a few rides. The chamois pad got uncomfortable which resulted in saddle sores. The logos all but disappeared after cold water washing and the shoulder strap elastic got loose.
shorter than I am used to but I expected that. quality seems good. a little tight in shoulder strap, I am 5'10'. I don't think I would buy again but am happy at the sale price.
I ordered a large which when they arrived they were more like a medium, I couldn't even get them past my thighs. so for the price and product it seemed like a good deal just order a size bigger.
