Not as warm as I expected

I purchased this to replace a old mid weight jacket. I wore it today, the average temperature was 37 degrees. I was out for 2 hours and I never was able to warm up. I can see where this would be a great jacket climbing mountains, here in the Midwest, its hard to generate enough heat with the cold air blowing up the arms and thru the fabric. Fit was ok except could be longer, it left my back a little exposed. Id return it but dont have the tags. Ill keep it and use it when 10 degrees warmer.

This is very warm and affords great visibility.

I use this for my early morning bike rides three times a week. It provides excellent warmth. The sleeves are double cuffed so no wind snakes up my sleeve. The color provides good visibility for riding. It's comfortable.

Nice Jersey Odd Fit
by Anonymous

Quality and warmth is great. But, not the typical Pearl Izumi fit. This thing is HUGE around the waistline. Im 60 210 lbs. I need a XXL to fit my shoulders and arms. Normally their stuff is a little loose around my midsection (34) but, this thing could probably accommodate someone with a 50+ waistline.

Almost there

This jacket i almost perfect, the sizing was loose to allow for layering, it is wind proof and water resistant and even has some great vents under sleeves. So why not 5 stars you ask? The waist, no rubber to hold it down no elastic to help close the gaps or even a draw string to sinch it closed, a small detail, but it would have made this the perfect jacket.

This coat was to replace my old pearl jacket that is thin, warm and breathable. This new one works pretty good but not quite as warm as my old one, sheds light rain as well as my old one, breathes ok

Great jacket. It will keep you warm!

I love this jacket! It keeps me warm even if the temperature drops down to freezing levels. I usually put two layers of long sleeve compression shirts underneath the jacket.

The jacket is water resistant but I never tested it during heavy rain.
