Works well and stays put on 35-mile rides. Have used about a dozen times. Swiveled mirror flat each time to store when done - works, looks and fits like brand new. Mirror is fairly large and thick, but light. Appears to be polycarbonate, but don't let that scare you. The view is flawlessly flat and clear (optical grade), and poly is less likely to fog and will never shatter. Fits snugly on my metal-framed glasses. I intend to use this when walking with ear-buds to keep a better awareness of traffic.
I have 3 of these mirrors & they work very well, fit on most glasses (all of mine) and provide good rear vision.
The system attaches securely to my Oakley M frame glasses. It's a little difficult to get on , but once connected, it's on to stay.
I'd prefer a smaller mirror that doesn't create such a large blind spot. I have the longer mirror and I think the short one would be even worse.
I think this will be more durable than prior plastic mirrors I've had.
Awesome and very good.
This mirror works great. It has plenty of ways to adjust it to your liking.
Longer than some that I have seen. Works well, but end that attaches mirror detaches rather easily. My frames have triangular shaped temples and these would work much better with flat ones.
I've tried a few of these mirrors. This one is the only one I'd recommend. It's also the only one that people on my team (Grizzly Peaks Cyclists) rides with.
Buy one.
You won't be disappointed.
Excellent mirror. Literally gives you eyes on the back of your head. Go for the full length - the compact is too short to see much of anything behind you and the full size isn't as heavy as you'd think.
Adjustable and sturdy. When put on my glasses, it stays there, no chance of falling off. Great rear vision with it.
I have worn sunglass mounted rear mirrors for years. I used to use the round ones but decided to give these a try. These provide more of an image of what is behind you.
Being able to see the motorists behind you gives one a chance at survival when they move into the bike lane and especially when they cut off a cyclist when making a right hand turn. I cannot remember the number of times the mirror has saved me from a major crash with a motor vehicle. I am always dumb founded when I see other cyclists go by without any means of seeing what is behind them. Mirrors are ridiculously light weight, don't look nerdy and provide huge safety benefits. I cannot ride without one.
I bought two of these cyclists mirror. I use one for early dark thirty with clear lens glasses, the other cyclist mirror I use on dark sunglasses in the afternoon. I see all vehicles behind me and this allows me to avoid accidents.
I attached the mirror to my helmet visor. Took awhile to adjust the mirror and make myself look out of my left eye. Once that was mastered, the only thing is at each ride I had to readjust the mirror as the helmet gets bumped around - taking in on/off and stored. These are not big issues - we all adjust.
This is a replacement mirror as the first one did not survive a broken crank-arm crash. I have definitely enjoyed not having to crank me head around trying to look behind me. Was hesitant at first, thinking that it would block my forward vision but this has not been an issue. Would recommend this for those who put in a lot of miles on the rode (i.e., Randonneurs).
I live in central Ohio, and there has been an an absolute epidemic of IDIOTS hitting cyclist with cars over the last year. (Do not let me get on a rant about that....) This product works well and fortifies peace of mind and safety. This mirror does not vibrate, which allows a clear view. Good product.
I've tried other mirrors. This has the best view - clarity and width of the field of vision. After figuring out the best adjustment, it stays put while riding. Two lengths are available. I prefer the longer one.
I attach them to glasses that have fairly strong plastic frames. The clamping mechanism can slip a little depending on the frame so I use a couple wraps of dental floss to make sure it doesn't slip.
I'm a bike commuter, so keeping an eye on traffic is a big deal. This mirror works quite well.
This mirror fits securely on my glasses and is fully adjustable. The size is enough that I have great visibility. I have tossed the other mirrors that I own and use only this now.
I was skeptical but ordered one for my wife and myself. I would never ride the road without one anymore. Very durable, easy to fit on my oakleys and provides a full view of the entire road behind me. Just a glance is all it takes. It's really piece of mind to know what's going on behind you, without having to crane your neck around and wander all over the road. Takes a few rides to get used to and trust it. But it's an awesome product and after looking at the other brands out there the quality is excellent. Get the small one if your using it for sunglasses, fits perfect.
My husband and I use these on every ride. They work great, and they are incredibly durable (unlike any others I had in the past)
I tried this after a good review in Bicycling, but I'm not crazy about it. It is stable on my cycling glasses. But I find it difficult to adjust, not especially convenient to look into, and a tight enough fit on the fairly thick temples of my glasses that it changes their shape. Since getting this, I've tried a bar end mirror that I can adjust the angle on and flips up when not in use, and I find that works better for me. Still, the price on this is great and might be worth a try if glasses or helmet-mounted rearview mirrors work better for you.
Good field of view,
Clips on easily
Easy to adjust
Can take some harsh use
