Must have item for your safety. Cars and e-bikes come up behind with no warning . Bike paths have now become dangerous as these e-bikes come speeding past you with no sound.

Greatly Improved Safety

I've been ridding seriously for over 35 years and for 34 of them would not have been caught dead with a mirror. But the need to feel safer on the roads made me break down and get this mirror and now I can't ride without it. I feel so much safer being able to see what's happening behind me. Just takes a ride or two to get adjusted and really is a game changer.

Genius engineering.

I am car-free and wear this mirror attached to my helmet visor. It allows me to keep track of what's going on behind me without constantly turning my head around. While no substitute for scanning by turning my ahead around before merging into traffic or a left turn lane, the mirror saves my time by allowing me to monitor traffic and pick a better time to make my move. I see many, many experienced riders wearing these, including long distance tandem tourers wearing one on each side.

I love the elegant infinitely adjustable angles. It was easy for me to set up, and I find the mirror an extremely helpful tool without being a distraction. Super light and strong.

I feel naked without my mirror while riding. This mirror is very durable - much better than the plastic product I've used for years which consistently fatigues and breaks at the arm. Completely adjustable and blocks minimal forward view due to the narrow rectangular shape. Highly recommend for any rider who values an eyeglass rear view mirror.

I rode for many years without a rear view mirror. Simply put, this was the best investment I have ever made in regards to safety. Now I couldn't imagine riding without it.

Clips right on to my plastic frame Ray-Ban's no problem, nice and snug, never shifts or slips. Very easy to adjust, then stays put.

I have a Garmin Varia and now I have rear view mirror. With the number of distracted drivers, and down right rude people, cyclist need as much help as we can get! Getting the mirror set up properly and getting use to using it takes some time, but then it's great. I much prefer this to a bike mounted mirror because I can move my head slightly and scan a wider field behind me.

Thus thing has been around forever and never improved upon, Durable materials, adjustable, large field of view and will last longer than you will.

Lost one years ago and replaced it with a plastic Third _____ brand. What a piece of junk. Broke in one season and the field of view was too small. Pair this with one of those new radar thingies and you have complete situational awareness.

What more could you want?

Bought 2. Long and short models. Had owned short but lost. Friend has long and really likes. I tried both. Short version is my preference. Also has smaller mirror. Kept long as a back up. Both work well. Went with my personal preference.

The use-fullness of this mirror depends on the rider position. I ride 100 miles/week with hands on the drops or on the brake lever hoods 98% of the time. There is no adjustment that can be made that will provide the line of sight required to see the lane behind. It would be useful if I rode in an upright position. I gave it a three star overall rating because it is well made. One star for value because it has no value to me.

I use this mirror every time I ride my road or commuter bike. It makes me feel safer while riding in busy roads. I have given a couple of these mirrors to friends.

I am not very happy with the product, very flimsy and I do not know how it could be attached to a helmet. I have since purchased another product.

I have had several different mirrors ranging from those mounted to the bar ends, helmet and glasses and have found these to be my favorites. They adjust easily and once you find the set up that works best for you it's not hard to reset them prior to a ride. Some mention having a longer reach for better vision, but I've not found this to be an issue. They are invaluable when riding in areas with traffic and remove the necessity for turning your head to check prior to moving left or turning. On the occassion of forgetting them, I feel uneasy without the ability to check what's going on behind me. The price is fair and I have found them to wear well and to last for several years without issues.

Blind spot

I tried this mirror and kept messing with it trying to get the mirror to see traffic, and when I did I had a blind spot that was too large to accept. Not sure it my problems were related to the design of the frame of my glasses, or if no matter what glass frame I would have used the result would have been the same, I'm not going to buy another pair of glasses to find out, some reviewers here love them so I suggest you try it and see what you think. Next time I buy a mirror I'll try a helmet mounted one and see if that works better. I think the product is overpriced too.

Not as long as I'd like

I've had a cyclist mirror years ago, but lost them in a move so I picked these up. The usefulness of such mirrors comes into play (for me) when I'm riding and needing to stay diligent of traffic coming up from behind. Still, the mirror I had previously was longer and it's apparent in the set up. That this one is relatively short-extends to less than four inches in length-takes away from an effective configuration requiring you to move your head when to see what's behind you. I wear wide-stem Tifosi sunglasses when riding and the mirror connects snugly-no worries about adjustment shifting once the bracket is installed, but I also have a pair of wire Oakley's. You can forget installing these are wire thin glasses. Overall the quality is good, but again, I've seen this product with a longer extension that simply works better. If I have to turning my head and focus (due to the short stem) takes longer than taking a look over the shoulder-it does-there's really no point in having a mirror at all.

Won't ride without it.

Clips onto RudyProject Rydon frames firmly - a bit of adjustment required to get 'just right' - but its very flexible in all directions.

I have had 3 of these mirrors over the years.. the mirror always outlasts the little black rubber tips that protect your eyewear and hold it in place. Tendency to rip over time, but, I remove the 'good one' from another mirror to replace it.

Best part is clear field of vision.

didn't work for me

I had never used a helmet/glasses mounted mirror. This one was a little too big. The mirror portion was too large and created a blind spot looking forward that freaked me out. I think I could get used to having the blind spot forward if the mirror itself were smaller. I've seen some like this with a mirror half the size.

Works well and stays put on 35-mile rides. Have used about a dozen times. Swiveled mirror flat each time to store when done - works, looks and fits like brand new. Mirror is fairly large and thick, but light. Appears to be polycarbonate, but don't let that scare you. The view is flawlessly flat and clear (optical grade), and poly is less likely to fog and will never shatter. Fits snugly on my metal-framed glasses. I intend to use this when walking with ear-buds to keep a better awareness of traffic.
