The Showers Pass Body-Mapped Baselayer pairs perfectly with Showers Pass jackets for optimum venting but also works just as well as a standalone baselayer. The 4-way fabric is blend of anti-odor Merino wool, soft modal, durable nylon, and stretchy spandex for a garment that performs time and again in any condition. The seamless torso prevents chafing, and the comfortable fit with thumb loops makes this baselayer suitable for cycling or any other activity.

Available in two sizes.

My go-to base layer.

Great base layer. Fits well, keeps me warm. Have used with a wool jersey and jacket, under a wool jersey, and with a regular jersey. Breathes well, doesn't smell.

Size runs small after washing

I'm 6'1 and lanky, and the large/xl is a bit short in the arm and torso for me (after regular warm machine washing, not delicate cycle). The thumb-hole in the sleeve is a bit weird - not comfortable to use it since the sleeves are a bit short and it tugs. Not sure the thumb hole would be a good idea in any event, because you don't really want at seam between your palm and the bars. Otherwise, the construction is good and the material is ok - despite the low % wool, it does that wool thing where it emits steam when you overheat in it. Does have its limits as far as wicking goes. Warmer and nicer when wet than my Patagonia base layer. A touch scratchy (think old-fashioned wool but not quite as bad) against the skin, but nice and stretchy and a good form-fit. Will try Craft next based on positive reports.

Showers Pass never disappoints.

The product is exactly what I wanted. It's great to wear as a base layer on those cold days in Colorado. I'm tall at 6'4 and it fit better than I expected.
