The Rivet CS is the lightest weight full finger cycling glove Giro has ever designed. By using the finest Italian made stretch woven back hand fabric, the Rivet CS (cool skin) is able to give a compressive feel akin to wearing no gloves at all. A feature that comes in handy when the temperature starts to rise and you need to put the hammer down. The Cool Skin palm is light and tough while being the driest summer gloves in the entire Giro line.

These fit the bill for minimalist gloves with light weight, breathable fabric on the back of the hands and no padding on the grip side. Nice on warm days on the road.
My pair has the stitching on the palm, near the wrist, already coming off a few rides in. It makes me question the durability. Ill keep riding until these completely fall apart because I like the feel and fit.
Classic Giro fit so no complaints there. Nice breathability. The tops of the gloves are basically thin lycra and on my third use I hit a branch and it tore the top of the glove. I like the idea of lightweight mtb gloves but a little durability is necessary where I ride from all the trailside bushes and branches I come in to contact with. If you ride in open areas that are hot these would probably be fine. Good luck!
