I bought these Zipp bars to replace some alloy bars that came on my bike. The Zipps have a comfortable bend, and ample flat space on top for comfort and a bit of aero gain. Most importantly to me, they manage to cut down on road buzz while still being plenty stiff. I'm not a racer, but I don't like feeling any flex in my bars, and these do a great job of adding both performance and comfort. I caught a good sale, and at ~$260 I'd be hard pressed to find a better combination of performance and value.
It's light and semi aero. Shifters position is optimal. I have it set up with a Zipp SL carbon stem and that is the best combo. I have the same exact set up on both of my bikes!
This handlebar was an upgrade to the standard handlebar on my new BMC ALR One. It was 5oz lighter and gives a more comfortable ride. In addition, I like the ergo shape of it with a bit of "aero" thrown in on the top of the bar. The top of the bar is a flat aero shape and is also swept back a bit for comfort. This is my first experience with carbon bars and they seem very strong too. So far so good!
Needed this size for a correct bike fitting. Very happy when arrived fast. Quality made and felt good in the hands after the install. Nice and light but very stiff.
Put these on my Hakka MX to replace a set of alloy bars. You could probably argue about the benefits of carbon (vibration damping I guess? and shaved a few grams), but they are hands down a far more comfortable bar than my previous. In every position these feel great. The tops are incredibly well designed for my hands. The reach and drop are exactly what I was looking for. Wish I would have bought these a long time ago.
Comfortable light weight bars that perform. Swapped out a set that was too narrow and these are perfect.
