Bought them for a race that was hardpack almost 100%. On the loose sections these feel slippery until the knobs grabbed me before I fell. On the straight these are the fastest MTB tire I have used. As fast as a Gravel bike if you can tuck a bit. 100% satisfied for what I bought them.
