This version of the tubibooster does not provide rapid enough decompression to seat used tires onto the rim. I'm sure that it would do a good job of seating NEW tires onto the rim, however, I've found that these can usually be seated by a hand pump anyways. However, the softer sidewalls of tires that have been previously used require a higher velocity discharge than this can supply. The lack of discharge velocity could be down to a couple issues: 1) the flexible hose or (more likely) 2) I was not able to engage the head without the valve core which could limit discharge velocity. I ended up seating the tires in question with a park tool shop inflator and a industrial air supply at work.
