I'm still running tubes, and have found it harder and harder to source quality rim strips. In particular, ones that both reliably cover the spoke holes w/o shifting to one side and don't make tire installation tighter.
I put two layers of this tape on my rim (perhaps overkill); it's thin so the tire still fits easily, and it stays put, unlike stretch "fabric" / woven strips. Has worked great so far. Note this is a 26xwide rim, so the pressure maxes out around 70psi when I run narrower road tires.
I have no idea how effective this tape is for a tubeless setup, sorry.
Does job, no hassles.
The Muc Off tape I was using is awful compared to this stuff. The Teravail tape still takes some work to apply and work the bubbles out, but it is a nice thickness and only needs one layer. So far it seems to stay on quite well, but not leave too much residue when removing. It is at the high end of tape pricing but is worth it if it lasts and doesn't start losing air. Definitely nice a smooth after working hard to install it, unlike the previous tape I was using.
This rim tape felt very good in the hands and it went on way easier than any i've used before. Make sure you keep it tight and you should have good luck.
Really nice tape. There is plenty of it to spare if you make mistakes and it's super sticky with high tensile strength to get it seated well into the rim as you pull. I've had issues with MucOff brand previously not sticking on the final cut seam but this stuff works great.
