SRAM Force is a great alternative to Red from a price perspective. The electronic shifting is very accurate and the complete wireless nature of the system is an advantage over Shimano. The only draw back I see is the use of corrosive materials on some of the components. Seems so little to use stainless in areas that are prone to corrosion, yet SRAM doesn't take that small extra steps to preserve the life of the product.
