I live in Texas and this jersey is great for most of the year. It doesn't have a raised collar, more like a climber jersey in that regard, so if you want that for neck/sun protection it may not be for you. Comfortable, stylish and looks wonderful. Took it with me on an 8 day tour and was easy to wash/dry/pack so ready to go in the rotation when needed.
