I have been a super fan of Sportful for years because of the cyclist specific fit. At 6'2", 175 the large size in bibs, tights, jerseys and jackets all fit me very well, like cycling garments should. This purchase was a replacement for the same garment that has served me well for many years. Perfect tight for those 55 degree days, with a pad good for a three hour ride and they even added reflective parts that were not there on the previous version. However, this has changes in the lycra. This is unfortunately, the third Sportful product I have purchased this year where the lycra is so weak that it bags around my thighs and will not hold things in place, including the pad. This makes for a rather fretful ride, with constant garment adjustments. The lycra has no support and certainly feels already overstretched, like a very old garment, similar to old woolen shorts and tights. I will not be able to use these tights very often, as the constant adjustment needed is just too frustrating.
Great fit, actuality fits me "true to size" so i was quite happy that I did not size up.
However
The bib straps are quite thin and somewhat biting into my shoulders. Not terrible, but I am suprised that this was deigned this way without noticing. Wider straps would make this soooo much more comfortable.
Great fit , good chamois, and plenty warm. Fit a little larger than other Sportful gear. Had to size down to a medium when I usually wear a large in Sportful.
The straps need to be at 3x wider, they feel like rope over your shoulders.
