I purchased the pants on sale and after trying them on decided these might be helpful. I was sceptical about sending more $ on top of the cost of the pants but these are worth every penny. The system they use to fasten them is brilliant and very sturdy. I haven't had a problem with any of the velcro holders failing and don't see how they could. They don't slip at all once adjusted and keep the pants in place throughout a daily 32 mile commute without any discomfort. I don't know they're on until I stop riding and change clothes. The pants don't have a waist adjustment system so if they don't fit perfectly, they could easily slide down. Add to that that most cycling gear is made of slippery materials and these are a no brainer. Thanks to Showers Pass for another well thought out product.
I have Showers Pass rain pants and was always pulling up the back for comfort coverage. Adding these suspenders made a good difference in my ride quality and enjoyment. Comfortable yet snug with the adjustable hardware. No binding into the shoulder, but tight enough to keep things in place. Fit as I expected.
Could use a little more robust velcro, they sometimes break loose when I'm putting them on, but hold well when riding
Great stuff
They fit well and can be easily adjusted if needed.
they work well with the Skyline pant....what else to say?
Work well with my Showers Pass Transit Pant. Good add on.
Rode 250 miles bike touring with my son on Scotland's islands. Kept my showerpass pants up perfectly. The suspenders are wide and extremely comfortable.
My Showers Pass rain pants have a tendency to slip down as I ride. I read reviews saying that happened so I wasn't surprised when it did. Annoying to keep hiking them back up, so after that one ride I ordered these and all was resolved.
Suspenders are great in combination with the Showers Pass Passport rain pants. Quality, Local, functional
Fit and feel very nicely. Love the way they attach to the pants
They work great with the Shower pass rain pants. The suspenders do what they are suppose to do. Keep your pants up.
Suspenders are a must with the pants
These are nice suspenders, if you purchase the roadie pants from this same company they don't seem to stay up wo the suspenders and in fact should be sold with them. Your pants need suspender loops to work with these.
I have both the Shower's Pass Racer's Edge pants and the Commuter rain pants (convertible to rain knickers if what you want is wet socks & feet) Both pants don't ride in the crotch right for me unless they are up against my legs. Which figures, because if you have a lump of fabric down there you are sitting on that lump or it's binding as you try to pedal. The solution is suspenders, they hold your pants up, duh! The only issue is with the attachment point of the suspenders themselves is that they use this floppy D-ring and Velcro strap on the pants to hold them together. The D-ring wants to flip sideways creating this sort of knot of fabric that looks bad but actually everything still holds together.
So if you have any of the Showers Pass pants which take suspenders, and you have your pants in a knot, and pulling them up fixes it, get these suspenders.
