Pedals work well, but you better like high tension pedals. Although adjustable, the lowest setting is still pretty tight.
Easy entry and exit. No hot spots on long rides.
I have replaced these pedals each year, more out of habit than need. They require very little maintenance, clean & lube and they just keep going.
I purchased a set of Shimano Ultegra PD-6800 pedals to be used on a road bike rental in Hawaii. With the product on sale, free shipment, and the ability to apply VIP credits, the deal was almost too good to be true. Now I have a addition quality pedal set available and ready for travel.
Ultegra pedal are a great upgrade. They are nearly as light as dura-ace, but much more affordable. Great value for the buck when on sale!. Super reliable and great performance.
I bought two pairs of these for a new road tandem. I have ridden on ultegra pedals for many years. Pedals are something that you shouldn't have to think about. You get on your bike, clip in & go. There is no thought or concern with these. You will fail before these pedals do. I will always use ultegra pedals and would recommend them every two me hands down. Cheap and durable!
shimano never disappoints when to comes to quality. Great pedals! I will recommend ultrega over durace for most riders unless you are a real pro.
Fire an SPD pedal and cleat, these are a great choice. Good value and weight.
I bought a second bike and wanted new pedals to go with. On my first bike I have a set of clip ins from a different brand. It functioned but squeeked every now and then. Also the pedals was never at a consistent resting place when getting ready to clip in. Which made me nervous at Red lights fumbling trying to clip in with traffic. Bought these pedals after reading reviews and I'm in love. Easy to clip in, no squeek and sleek looking. My confidence is better as a rider with these
These pedals are great value. Feels solid and look great. I'm using these with the blue cleats.
I use them on all of my road bikes. Easy to get in and out of. Great pedals.
I got 6 years and over 12,000 miles out of my old Ultegra pedals, and loved them. The new ones have all the best of the old ones, but are lighter. I take long rides through the Colorado Rockies, and love the stability of these pedals.
Have tried most high-end pedals and found Dura-Ace to be the best. The Ultegra version gives away very little in weight and performs just as well for significantly less money. They are a real bargain. And having different choices of foot rotation by changing cleats is a blessing for older knees.
Have purchased sets of Ultegra pedals this summer. I replaced Time I Clicks with Shimano Ultegra because I was having too many issues with Time bearings and cleats. The Shimano pedals seemed like they would be more durable and easier to find replacement cleats for. I considered using Dura Ace for weight savings, but the price of the Ultegra pedals changed my mind.
Not really what I wanted. I wanted a road pedal that would be easy to clip into and easy to clip out of. I'm not completely happy either way. Not easy to get out of.
The pedal offers a wide base for a feeling of support. It is easy to clip in and out of the pedal with its adjustable tension. I highly recommend this pedal.
I bought these with Sidi Genius road shoes and could not be happier
I use the Ultegra PD-6800 pedals with my road bike already equipped with other Ultegra components. The wide platform makes a difference on climbs.
The spindle bearings are shot after 6 months of riding. The 6 months were in the rain, but I expect better from Shimano Ultegra.
Daily commute and weekend rides. I like the wider platform, seems very comfortable under my foot.
