A nicely crafted tool that will last a lifetime - or two. Park Tools offers a similar tool; however, while I am a big fan of Big Blue, I feel the Shimano TL-FC41 is a bit beefier. If you want to remove/install your Shimano direct mount chainring, you are going to need this tool. Fits perfectly and does the job.

Wanted to change out my Shimano Deore 30T chainring with an oval and though I could get away with using my bottom bracket wrench to get the lockring off...nope. Broke down and bought this tool and it was totally worth it.
Tool arrived quickly, was in excellent condition (new) and made the job easy.
