I prefer the Schwalbe over the Cont GP as it provides better puncture protection and more comfortable ride for my use. Good for longer rides and commuting.
Have these on two of my bikes. got 3500 miles out of my last set. Mounted easily and wore great. Hold the road well, cornering and on steep descents.
These look great, go on easy, and perform perfectly.
These tires are easy to install and setup tubeless, roll fast and comfortably, are great in the corners, and are super durable. After 6 months of use, nearly 3000 miles, and no flats, I just noticed my rear tire is down to the threads. Not bad longevity for a "race" tire! The front tire has twice as many miles and is still going strong. My only knock is they are a bit pricey.
I've had these on my bike for about a month and have already had three flats. I expected more durability for as much as they cost. I am running normal tubes, not light or latex, and while there is some debris on the roads around my house, I wouldn't say it's excessive. The tan sidewalls look cool, but apart from that factor IMO there's no advantage to purchasing these tires.
I use for training and street racing. I had them set up tubeless and they are a copletely different feel than I have ever experienced. And they are faster. Strava does not lie! Or does it. :-)
Any, Schwalbe quality is the best ! I discovered there DD Durano and loved them.
Buy these tires..., unless they say "only one left in stock"...cause I'll want a pair for next year! :-)
Tire rolls well, Took a few rides to really get it to seat and hold air, but then it was solid. Up until I got a very small puncture that sealant would not plug. Now back to running a tube hoping someone has a 28 to sell :(
This is the standard against which other tubeless tires are measured. You can ride the others or ride the standard - it's a personal choice. No tubeless goes on without effort, else they'd not be capable of holding air BUT this one slips on much easier than a well known competitor- much easier.
Easy set-up on my road bike. Handles exceptionally well and goes where you want
Rounder profile than Conti GP 5000TR Tubeless, Slightly more stable less twitchy. Rolls nice absorbs rough roads well.
I bought these to replace some Vittoria's that came stock with my bike. Talk about a change, fast, supple, quiet, sticky, cannot complain about one thing, a huge upgrade in ride quality and performance. You cannot go wrong!
I expect to get a lot of miles with these tires. They will look great on your bike and I have always had good performance from Schwalbe bike tires.
These tires feel nice to ride. But they are not puncture resistant. I ride less than 200 miles (on roads) before a puncture that sealant wouldn't hold. The older version of the Pro One, which I'd used for several years, did a better job resisting punctures.
I've only had a few rides on these but the ride is as supple as you would expect from a good quality tubeless clincher. The real value with these is in the install, and they are VERY easy to get on. (The Conti GP 5000s I usually ride require a Godzilla grip, and lots of frustration, time, and effort.) We'll see how they hold up but I'm very impressed so far.
Pricey but a top of the line tire. These installed super easy by hand onto Giant SLR tubeless (hookless) rims. Inflated with just a normal pump. Had a fair but of air loss overnight but a little extra sealant and no issues (about a little over 2oz). The ride is very supple and fast.
I use these tires on my road bike. The are the best for ride comfort and durability. For a tubeless tire, they are easy to install. Direct is great to order from.
I knew they'd be fast and light, they are also surprisingly durable while still offering the expected traction.
I've been running these tires for several years based on information about rolling resistance. I've found these tires to be dependable and fast.
This is a good tire, handles well.
Previously I've been running Conti 5000 TL's but they are extremely difficult to mount on my HED Ardennes wheels. The Schwalbe Pro One TLE solves this issue, easy to mount and set up tubeless. The ride is very supple and not one flat in 3K miles so this will be my go to road tire for awhile.
