The obvious value of having a torque wrench is so you properly torque sensitive bolts especially when they are in contact with carbon fibre, but for me the real value is the night before a big ride when I am going over my bike and checking to make sure it is ready it is just a click away from piece of mind that my seat post won't slip down or the bars won't tweek. I have a Snap-On 14 drive inch lb torque wrench but I needed a second for a different location and purchased this Pro, it is very accurate super EZ to use and I like it as much if not more than the Snap-on at a lot less than half the price. I just wish they made a 38 drive 50nm version, I would buy it immediately..

This is a tool we all need at sometime if your working on bikes regularly. Before I got this, it was always is that tight enough, or too tight? The PRO Torque wrench is a great addition to my tool collection and getting it on sale was awesome! What more is there to say?
I was upgrading a 9 speed grupo on an older bike to a new 105 11 speed grupo. All of the boltsnuts have specific torque requirements. i suppose you could guestimate the torques with your box wrench set but I like to do these things correctly. The Pro torque wrench is easy to set and easy to use and it comes with all the sockets I needed for the job. The scale is in Newton Meters so you'll need to convert if your torque values are in inch-pounds.
This is by far the best, simple to use, versatile and reasonably priced torque tool I have ever owned.
Great tool to properly tighten components after an overhaul. I have bikes from 1974 to 2015. Road, mountain and folding models.
I use it for bicycle maintenance and using the correct torque on carbon fiber parts. The dial doesn't go to zero and it's also hard to tell exactly what you've set the torque value at. The release button for the socket doesn't work very well and I usually have to fiddle with it to release the socket. The closures for the plastic case doesn't work anymore and the wrench and package just have a cheap feel to it. I'm not impressed.
This wrench has an easy way to set up your torque. Just turn the dial and set it for the desired torque. I can see this tool lasting a long time on my tool box due to its build and feel.
I like this wrench, i bought this on the recommendation of a local shop. I have used it to set up my new carbon bike. It work great, easy to set.

My bike has some torque specs like6.2nm, 4.6nm that you can dial in precisely on this wrench. I' have used it a few times and it works fine.
The torque wrench is a little small but very useful for most of the smaller bolts that need to be torqued.
A must have tool for modern cyclists. Well made, easy to use. If you have a carbon fiber frame, stem or bars, this tool is a must.
I really like this torque wrench but wish it was a little bigger to work with other areas of my bike where we need a larger wrench and more torque. This does work great though for all of the other areas of the bike and keeps you from tightening the bolts down to much.
If you own a carbon bike and want to safely torque the bolts then you need one of these. If you set it to the correct torque you dont have to worry about damaging your cabon bars, seat post, etc.
Have used just a few times so cannot speak to the durability but a rate it highly so far for the quality and ease of use.
I have only had this torque wrench for a few
weeks now. It has already seen action several
times though. I have used it primarily on carbon
fiber components (handlebar clamps, seat post
binding bolts, brake levers), but have found it
useful in places I would never have considered
before (cleat screws on my mountain bike shoes).
It is easy to use and increases my level of
comfort and confidence in my work.
