This is a great helmet. I even love the matte red. The first time I wore it, the guys were envious and so now many of them have this same helmet. It is lightweight and forms perfect to give you a snug fit. You will not regret it.
I have yet to experience this in a hot climate but already notice the aerodynamics of it. Nothing wrong with my previous Giro Atmos but in the wind and side winds my head would get bounced around a bit, with the Ventral it feels like I have no helmet on at all.
Fit is great and stays on snuggly.

Love it. Beautiful. It's kind of a super white matte finish that's different than the others. Good ventilation for summer as well.

This helmet is light and comfortable, the color blue looks amazing. I have received many compliments on the color.
It is well ventilated yet very quiet. The matte grey looks good too!
Road cycling; nice color, good fit
Extremely comfortable fit. Very light straps that are easy to adjust. Excellent ventilation. It's also very well made without the rough edges I've seen on other helmets.
Likes - comfortable, unique color, quality build, tightening mechanism, air flow.
Dislikes - Makes head look like a mushroom, but that's ok, sort of.
This is my 5th POC helmet and like all of them it fits and looks great.
I had a POC Octal helmet and this one is even better. The matte white is highly visible so that's the one I got.
After years switched from a Smith, which was always way too hot and this helmet fits great, is light and vents well. As another reviewer noted, will not hold Rudy, and a few other glasses.
