Bought this helmet because I wanted something different. Comes in a variety of colors so you can have some fun with that. Reviews were very positive on safety and protection. It fit so well a bought another one in a different color. Make sure you measure before you order. I usually where a medium in other brands but need a large in POC. Fit great!
Ventilation is the best I've had in my 20+yrs of riding
I'm very pleased with this helmet. The spin feature lets the shell move while the lining remains in place, which I believe is how it is designed. My head might be a little narrow, so it seems like the shell might rest to one side ever so slightly (maybe 1-2 mm). It doesn't bother me and I don't think it is noticeable unless you're looking for it. Otherwise the fit is excellent and the ventilation is great.
I bought this to replace my first generation evade helmet. Much more comfy for head. Very airy and light in comparison. The only downside is that the sunglasses dock don't play well with my Rudy Project glasses.
This is my second POC Ventral Air Spin. First one was damaged protecting my head in a crash on some black ice. My head was fine, the helmet not so much, just as designed. This helmet has amazing airflow, the garage for the sunglasses is great, and I couldn't ask for a better fit
It has been difficult to find Helmets over the last 40 years that fit my Pin Head, and look tasteful when riding. POC has done a terrific job in both categories. The ventilation is fantastic! I definitely recommend this Helmet!
I purchased a number of helmets this spring and ended up sticking with this one. By far the best ventilation option that I tried while still offering a comfortable amount of critical area protection.
Nice fit straight out of the box. Light and comfortable, but the real key is the cooling. Never had a helmet that had this type of airflow.
This helmet offers superb ventilation to get you through hot summer days. Often after rides my head is almost completely dry from the vents at work. Came with a bag to stow my helmet in which was awesome. Def should be considered among your top choices within the given price range.
It is light, great design and you can feel the air through the vents on these hot days.
This helmet is amazing Ive had Several other POC helmets and this one is the best. I wear a 7 58 hat and this thing had plenty of room for my head. The thing is super breathable to.
Design prioritizes safety over visual presentation.

My first experience was in 90-degree humid weather, 60-mile ride. The helmet seems to disappear with lots of airflow, that felt cooler. My goto hot weather helmet.
I own 3 Giro Synthe helmets but wanted something navy blue, enter the POC Ventral Air Spin. I got this on Sale so the price was right. The color is awesome. It fits great, although the ear straps do not adjust, so that might be an issue for some. Really like this helmet, I would totally buy it again and recommend it to others.
So far this helmet has been very comfortable and I appreciate the high visibility of the orange.
I like to wear this helmet on hot days. Orange one is great for extra protection from traffic too. Very light and somewhat aero.
This is one of the best helmets out there. Boat loads of ventilation and protection. The best part is, it's not weird and pointy looking. This helmet would be perfect if it were like 20 grams lighter.
Aside from the great sale price I got on this, it is the lightest and best ventilated helmet Ive ever owned(and Ive owned Rudy, Scott, Catlike, Ekoi, and Bell). Though I dont log huge miles(just 100-125 per week), it never feels like Im even wearing a helmet. Though its not technically a MIPS helmet, POVs version of MIPS feels just as comfortable and safe as my MIPS helmets.
