The leg bands stay in pace without binding. The shoulder straps arent so thick as to be uncomfortable. Easy to use the bathroom! Way better than shorts! Im a retired 63 yr old. My hubby and I ride 20 miles and many hills around us 3 times a week during good weather.
Was impressed at the quality and thickness/density and surface texture of the pad. Lycra fabric is nice, what I'd call a light to mid-weight as far as texture, density/thickness etc. with mild/minimal compression. The shoulder strap fabric is just a single layer of the lightweight lycra, no hemming/edging added so shouldn't cause any chafing. MY problem is I have a long torso, and the shoulder straps are so stretched out to their maximum, that they tend to "wrinkle" or "fold" lengthwise and I feel very "scrunched". I have plans to add a lycra extension to the back straps in an area where seams won't bug me, then I can test them long enough on the bike to offer a better review. :D
Have you ever needed to use the bathroom mid-ride and found yourself in a tangled state of undress, trying to pull the jersey up over your shoulders, slide off the straps and yank the bib shorts down - all while not trying to flash the rest of the group and/or random passers-by? Yeah, it sucks. Thank you, drop tail bibs!
Complicated design, Endura of the UK makes a simpler women drop seat design.
I used these bibs for road cycling - have only worn them for 30 mile rides so far but I would definitely wear them for longer. Comfortable chamois, legs don't ride up and the straps are such an improvement to older versions of bibs that just rest on your shoulders. Well-thought out design. I sized up to a medium, 134 lbs. athletic build. I actually bought a second pair after trying them out, great design and fit for the price.

These shorts are really comfortable, even in a 75 mile ride, and I really like the drop tail design so I don't have to disrobe to use the bathroom.
I use it on our road bike rides and gravel rides. The female specific strap makes it convenient to go to the restroom. Pearl Izumi chamois and fit is always good so I always buy this brand.
