Good pair of bibs for the price. Pad is adequate, but not as good as the Elite pad. Fit is comfortable, sizing is pretty much true but not as snug as the Elite Escape 3/4 bib I also purchased later. Im 56, 154lbs, 33 waist, 45 chest and the large in both models fit well but the Pursuit Attack is a slightly larger in the same size. On me, the leg openings could be smaller on both models but its not an issue. Pant legs still stay in place and dont ride up too much. As others have mentioned, the bibs (pad) are good for moderate distances. Maybe up to 20 miles or a little more and still comfortable. I find I like the Elite pad more for longer distance riding.
Ive used shorts from 6 other companies and find that I prefer Select, and Elite pads from Izumi. Supportive but they dont feel like diapers.
Cant compare these bibs to other makes as I just started wearing bibs a few months ago.
Wish Id purchased bibs when I first started riding. Much more comfortable.
These are comfortable and have allowed me to extend my mileage on both of my bikes. I recommend these to anyone that rides up to about 50-75 miles. Comfortable in 90* weather here in North Carolina summers.
I've been through so many shorts and bibs. I am the Dad-bod sort, 5-10, 180 and the large in this short is perfect. Not good, great. I have been through at least a dozen others and these are supreme. Great materials, great fit, easy care. Durable as well.
I bought these bib shorts on a Daily special deal, and I am sorry I didn't buy 2! excellent fit, and compression, perfect chamois pad, without all of the bulky pillow -top stuff that so many others have. clean looks and comfortable for long & short rides.
These bib shorts sagged way too much in the butt. Felt uncomfortable when riding because the padding seemed to bunch up. Also, the upper portion of shorts are made very cheaply. The straps are not hemmed, but just cut out of a sheet of synthetic material. Price is good, but you get what you pay for....hence, not a good value.
This bib provides great support and fits better on me than the other I own. It's comfortable, fabric seem of high quality and put together with good stitching. I bought one and love it enough to buy one more.
Sure, it's not as good as a much more expensive pair, but if you're in the market for some bibs for indoor training or racing, these fit the bill well and don't break the bank like other brands.
Nothing like hitting your first 100k ride and feeling like Andy Bernard after his 5k. These pants certainly solved the problem in future rides. Fit was nice, especially for an overweight guy. Great price on the product, too.
Budget friendly bibs that actually work. They are my every day bibs. 6 220 no gut xl fits perfect. Gotta remove scratch tags for comfort but given price its a small inconvenience to deal with. These appear to be bombproofvubs that will last more than a year or two.
These bibs are a great value and good for rides lasting up to 3 hours. I don't think I would use them on rides longer then that. My only negative on these bibs is that the front mesh panel comes up very high over the belly button. Makes them a little warmer on summer rides but may be appreciated on cooler rides.
Great price vs quality deal. Bought 2 pair.
Im an athletic muscular build and find it a challenge to find cycling clothing. Thanks to Pearl Izumi for designing gear that suits me. The chamois pad is comfortable for longer rides and indoor Zwifts. Would definitely recommend.
Why do manufactures put their tags right in the mid of your back? Even after I cut the tag off, there is still a trimming sticking out that irritates my back.
Recreational cycling, fabric stretch and retention feels comfortable.
I wasn't sure to go for the medium or the large, as my pant size is 34. I went with the large and they fit very well and are super comfortable. Oh, and I love the name...Pursuit Attack Bib Short. These days I do more pursuing than attacking!
I use these shorts on my road bike. They have a very comfortable pad that I feel comfortable riding for several miles without any chafing. I also feel comfortable knowing that they are not see thru and yet very breathable.
I am 6' 1" and 225 lbs. and these are the best fitting bibs I have ever purchased. The fit is perfect and they are comfortable on my 50 mile rides.
These are great fitting shorts for my XL legs without being too long. I've always loved this cut, but would like to see them upgrade the chamois. The next model up has a much better pad, but the fit is not as good.
I buy these bibs on sale every fall. They are great for any distance ride including centuries. Comfortable and cool, as you'd hope and expect.
This is the second pair of these bibs I've bought. Sizing is perfect for me, I'm 5'9 and 150 lbs and medium fits like a glove. Chamois is comfortable for 100 mile plus rides! Price is right as well.
