The Peal Izumi P.R.O. Pursuit Wind Jersey performs as advertised. I've worn it a few times already this year on particularly windy days and it kept the wind at bay, but at the expense of breathability. I typically don't perspire too much during my rides, but with this jersey it's impossible not to. The material used in the construction of this jersey has an almost plastic bag-like feel. While that's great for keeping the elements out, it's also keeping perspiration in. 30 minutes into my rides with this jersey and my arms are clinging to the inside of the sleeves as the sweat has built up. In addition, the fit is somewhat off as well. I bought a size small and it fit great, except the sleeves are ridiculously long. There's about an extra 3-4 inch of material in the sleeves resulting in the sleeves running down to my knuckles. I contemplated getting it altered, but decided to just leave it as is and roll up the sleeves. Would I buy it again? No. A shame since I really like the value Pearl Izumi offers with their products.
Breaks the wind real well. Very light weight and comfortable.
