These gloves provided the warmth and wind protection I needed for early morning, CA winter commute (25 to 35 deg temps), and kept my hands toasty. Very comfortable with good grip, as opposed to some winter gloves that have padding and feel sloshy on the handlebars. Longer gloves overlap (underlap, I guess) with my riding jacket, preventing an uncomfortable cold spot.
My hands get cold very easily so after several other gloves didn't work for me in the 30 degrees range I thought I'd give this glove a try. The shell provides decent wind protection at speed. I've worn these several times in the low 30's to mid 40 degree range and am very happy with the results. In the mid 40s my hands start to sweat. I went with the large size for a 8 12 circumference hand and they are a little loose but not bad.I can use a liner glove comfortably for colder rides.
Every ride I do I use my smart phone and my old gloves didn't work with smart phones. At first I wasn't quite sure how well it would work and keep my hands warm. So far, I've used them for temps down to 40. The gloves have a solid feel to them and they're comfortable. The part I like best is being able to use my smart phone to startstop cyclemeter without taking the gloves off
Comfortable and warm. I usually wear size small, but these were too big for me.
these gloves fit so well i have used them beyond cycling. walking the dogs is great because there is no glove removal needed when re-hooking them to their leash, and my hands stay cozy warm. i have had many gloves in my years and most never fit just right...these fit perfect and do exactly what the description states...windproof, water resistant and WARM. cannot go wrong with these.
Worked well even when wet, just descended the Pordoi pass in Italy (Dolomites) in heavy rain at 35 degrees a few days ago with them.
