The attachement for the light to the bars is over built and I dont think it needs to be that hard , I change my light from my commuter bike to my race bike and the head light attachment is time consuming, the tail light charging port doesnt stay in place so dirt and water could possibly get in the port I just flipped the taillight upside down and it should work
After a friend was hit, I now ride with lights. These lights do the trick. Bright and long lasting. Don't leave home without 'em!
The front is very powerful and has decent battery life. I find its actuation a bit confusing, particularly if you like to use a pulse sequence to extend battery life during daytime rides. The mount is easy to put on, but you need to really wrap it tightly to prevent the relatively heavy light from shifting around on bumps. The rear light is exceptionally nice. It has three settings, the top one of which I suspect can be seen from outer space. And it wraps around far enough on the side to increase visibility to cross traffic too. Not cheap, but still a good value.
It does not have a flashing mode, and fell off the base TWICE in the first week. Already RETURNED
SECOND AND LAST NIGHTRIDER I BOUGHT
Works great on foggy dark days. Puts out plenty of light.
