Low rolling resistance and fairly light. Better durability then the Race Competition tires. The 25mm width will inflate to more like a 27mm tire.

Great sticky rubber!

Even though these tires might be a little soft (but they are a race tire), they inspire great confidence. They roll extremely well and seem to do just fine in wet conditions as well.

I would buy these tires again. Not to mention the color options that you can get. Make matching your bike easy.

I can't say that I have tried all the tires out there, but I can say that these tires have worked well for me. Great looks, low rolling resistance, and not flats. What more can you ask for. The are a smooth tire so you have to be a little careful on wet pavement. But you need to be careful with any tire on wet pavement.

I train on mile after mile of very, very rough 'chip seal' pavement with little or no shoulder, subsequently I usually have lots of cuts, punctures, and flats. Not so with this tire. It also gives me as good a ride as I have ever experienced on these poor highways.

Amazing Tire

Great Tire, Had been riding Conti Black Chili, hit some glass and it cut completely through the cord had been using Michelin, due to the good reviews and price I switched to Conti, Bad choice, I am back on Michelin for life, great rolling resistance picked up a few minutes on the loop course I normally run, highly recommend, no complaints other than cost, but you get what you pay for, can't do anything but highly recommend this tire.

I've been using Vittoria Open Corsa CX tires the past few seasons and recently switched to Michelin Pro4 Service Course. Was a little apprehensive due to much lower TPI and max pressure of the Michelin but this tire is awesome! I ride with about 110 psi. The Michelin has a much smoother ride than the Vitoria even at same tire pressure and the Michelin's high-speed cornering is amazing! I switched because I was wearing out the Vittoria's in 1000 - 1200 miles. Hoping the Michelin is more durable. For now I'm glad I switched due to superior ride quality and handling.

I love these tires. I had switched to tubeless for about a year but ended up back with Michelin! They are easy to change if/when you have a flat but best of all they are strong enough to resist a lot of the common debris flats. They ride well on bike too.

not worth the money...

Rode on ride about 70 miles and then 35 miles the next day. At the end of the second ride the tire blew out on a smooth surface, no rocks... The pavement wasn't that hot, air temp was around 82 F. The tire was inflated to 100psi - well within the recommended range. I had a complete blowout with a 100 miles on the tire. I bought the tire and the recommended Michelin tube. Not sure what happened but it was not an economical experience. I've used different tires over the years and never had any problem with them. I usually get lots of miles out of my tires and great service. The miles I did get out of these were smooth and a great ride. I just need to get more than a hundred miles out of a set of tires... I normally change my own tires but wanted the bike shop to see it on the bike. Fortunately the blowout came within fifty feet of the end of the ride so I carried the bike to the end and had my shop look to see if they could determine the cause. They could not determine with any accuracy what happened but had an opinion. Let's just saw they prefer other tires.

Best grip for the dough

I have used Michelin tires on my bicycles, cars and motorcycles since I sold them and installed them at a tire shop in the 70's. I have tried a number of tires on my many bicycles and have settled on the Michelin pro tire series for their grip and quality. My typical rides in my area include parts of the tour of California course including the KOM climbs. Yes the Michelins are soft but they are smooth and stable during the high speed descents that are our reward for the steep switchbacks we climb. If you are willing to give up some mileage for grip in corners this may be the tire for you. I'd say give them a try, I have been very happy with them.

I was very disappointed in the durability of these tires.

I purchased a set of these tires at the end of June 2013. Within 500 miles of riding, a sidewall in the front tire split and cause a blowout at speed. Upon examination of the front tire, I noticed small cracks or splits developing at different places along the sidewall. I then checked the read tire and noticed that it too was showing signs of splitting along the sidewall at various points. I removed both tires and do not intend to purchase these again. Disappointing, as these are fast and smooth rolling tires, but just not worth the cost, especially a blowout at speed.

Durable and Smooth
by Fiddler
Northern Virginia

I first bought a pair of these tires a few years ago when my Continentals wore out. They were an immediate improvement in handling, speed, and rolling resistance. They lasted much longer than I expected, and I was commuting over 100 miles a week on them.

This, when the tires on my new bike died on a patch of broken glass, I decided to go back to the Pro4s. Since getting them, Ive found them to be durable and smooth as before, but this time they dont seem as fast, and theres actually more rolling resistance. I have think their formula has changed, so I wouldnt recommend these anymore if youre looking to go faster. They do wear well and hold the road nicely.

Smooth & Fast, Both The Tires & The Service
by PodiumPeddler

These tires are great. Their description is exactly what you get. I have use Pro3 Race 700x23c for the past 10 years on several bikes and wanted to try the Pr03 700x25c hoping for a little more cushion and cornering grip. These do both. I lost no speed going to the wider tire. Very happy with the tires and the whole transaction. Smooth & Fast. Thank You.

Mine fell apart

After one year and about 1200 miles, my blue Pro 4 Service Course front tire de-laminated. The blue layer pulled away from the main carcass, causing the tube to burst. In 40 years of riding, I've never seen that happen. I have several road bikes with various tires that I ride at the same pressure I rode these (100PSI). Only the Michelins fell apart. Weird and scary. No more colored Michelins for me.

I ran the Pro 3's for over 10 years and always got a thousand safe miles from them. The Pro 4's last all of that & longer now that I've changed from 23C width to 25C. Smoother ride and a bit longer tread life.
