Just rolled past 2,000 miles (rear tire) with this one. No flats. Rides well. Great endurance.
Im about 182 lbs. used this one in Road races, my trainer, and crits. One word of caution. Dont buy Michelin tire from a cheap eBay or off name site. I think there are a lot of fake Michelin tires out there, for really cheap prices . Buy from a reputable dealer, like this one. You will know if you buy a fake Michelin, they dont last and flat quickly. Ride safe
I've used Continental tires and would always brag about their puncture resistance. Well, now I've found an even better tire, the Michelin Krylon 2. Lighter, faster rolling, longer lasting, the best tire I've used in 60 years of cycling!
I purchased these tires on sale, the surprise is what a Great Ride I pedal less the bike keeps rolling, had them on good bad dirt roads. just because they say Michelin is no reason to pass, I'm happy with the Michelin Krylion 2 Endurance Road Tire, Great Ride.
I bought 2 pairs of these to use as training tires at a ridiculously low price not expecting much in the way of performance but these tires are winners. What they lack in suppleness they more than make up for in durability which is what I'm after for training purposes. I've used these on fast group rides and never been disappointed.
Moved to urbansuburban area with bike lanes with patches of glass and debris. Used up the tires I had and wanted a better tire for this situation. Researched and discovered that these were highly rated for puncture resistance and their rolling resistance was good enough too. They are tougherbetter than the popularexpensive clinchers that I was using. Huge bonus for me is (that for my wheels) they are much easier to change on the road. Whereas it used to take me 30 minutes of struggle and pumping the tire up, I can now do it in under 10 minutes. Won't buy other tires as long as I can buy these at this low price.
