Been using these for awhile. They result in an excellent ride.

They don't flat from steel belted tire wires on the road. At least until you change tires in case you are putting the old tire on another wheel.

And they can be patched with REMA patches. I've done that several times.

Try the rest if you must - then get the best.

If you want the best combination of low weight, reliability, performance smooth valve stems, quality and value then get these. Not so thin that pinch flats will be a problem. Perfect weight for racing. Ample durability for training. Hold pressure well for several days. I have tried ALL the rest. The only thing you can't do is remove the valve core but I don't ever do this. The least compromise of all available tubes with the best overall performance. What more could you want?

Michelin Quality

I use Michelin tubes because they work. There are lighter tubes out there but these wont let you down because a seam ruptured or a valve stem ripped out. Consistent quality, predictable performance and safety you can depend on.

Most of the cheaper tubes have a lot of variability in wall thickness and a considerably higher defect rate. Many of the cheaper no-name tubes I've purchased at my local bike shops have had weak seams or thin spots that resulted in quick or immediate flats. If you're only carrying one spare, this can be a real pain.

Even though these tubes are considerably lighter than most, I've had fewer flats and no obvious defects with these tubes. Definitely worth a little extra money.
