I ride a lot of different roads with hills, flats, and descents. In my opinion, rim brakes are the easiest to modulate. The brake surface on these wheels is perfect. The stopping power rivals my bike with disc brakes. I also installed tubeless tires with the proper sealant. They only drop slight amounts of pressure between rides. In fact, I tossed my emergency flat bag on the work bench to lighten the load. I have other bikes; therefore, I don't ride these wheels every day. However, these are some of the best wheels out there for the price!
I ride these wheels every ride. 175 to 200 miles a week. Don't race anymore but would race these wheels. Roads here can be rough and haven't had to true these once. No cons yet.
