Like many 'personal' products, say shampoo or shaving creme, it's impossible to know for sure whether this will be your favorite. I have used at least three other brands Assos,Doc's,Button Hole come to mind. I've known riders who didn't use creme at all. I found this to a very pleasant and protective compound. It's certainly comparable to any other brand I've used.
It's pretty thin... I would say it's not not as thick or long lasting as Assos. It also transfers through the chamois and onto the outside of my bib shorts which leaves an oily blotch on the saddle. The ingredients are great, and I like that it's not petroleum based. I think it could just use a little refining.
