Been wearing this on 40-50degree days with a long sleeve undershirt on the cooler days to stay warm. It's a little looser fitting on me (5' 9, 150lbs) than I would like but keeps me warm and that's what matters to me.
I use this on colder (35-40 degree) days with a base layer and jacket, of course. It is heavier than many of my long sleeved jerseys. It fits extremely well and has held up well to washing (cold water and air dry like all my cycling apparel).
I will buy another one of these if they go on sale again as it was a great purchase!!!
Opened this jersey up and thought...this cant be very warm. Boy was I wrong. It is not windproof at all but with a long sleeve T and a windproof jacket, I have been very comfortable riding in the upper 20s. I dont but this jersey on until Im ready to go outside!
I have worn this three times. I live in Indiana where the weather is like a roller coaster. I wore it once and it was too much. I overestimated the weather. I have worn it twice and it was perfect. I have always worn it under a vest or a jacket. I like the fit. It is not so tight I can't wear an undergarment to absorb the sweat. I like the sleevescuffs. They stay put. I like the length. I am 6'5 and it covers my upper body well. The collar is nice to tuck in a neck warmer or balaclava. I have only one negative and it is because of where I live. this is made in Canada so the zipper is opposite of what I am used to. In America it is more a women's zipper (left-sided). But that is minor to the absolute positives with this jersey.
Good jersey for the shoulder seasons, comfortable and fairly warm. Not really a replacement for a winter jacket.
