I like the bit of float provided by the red cleats. I've been riding Look pedals for years. I try to minimize the walking I do on the, but don't much worry about them. I tend to get at least a season out of them, which is typically 2000 miles.
works well with Look pedals. The only real issue is that the grip pads are easily damaged if walking a lot, especially on rough pavement. The good news is that after damage, there's no reduction in the proper function of the cleat except that they can be slippery to walk in on slick surfaces.
After using grey color, I just changed to black, and both are great
My last keo cleats had me slipping all over while walking around. These have a lot more grip!
These walkable cleats are great. Don't have to worry about cleat covers and them coming off and losing them. They make walking on slippery or wet surfaces much safer.
Grippers are a must. If you get the basic cleats without the grippers, get ready for some impromptu ice skating. Well worth the extra cost.
I have used Look Keo Grip Replacement Cleats in gray for years. Decided to switch to black to take out the float. Really like these better once the position is dialed-in exactly.
love the rubber
I love the solid secure feel of Look peddles and cleats. Only time I want something else is if find myself needing to walk very far in them.
Great on most days but watch out for ICE!!!
Good price for a standard look keo cleat.
Good price for a good product, They work as advertised and provide good service for the price
These are far better then the cheaper Looks which cause you to slip on the road. These cleats have a soft foamy like plastic that will prevent a spill. The cleat last a long them even the soft foamy part.
These are the way to go when replacing your cleats. Yes, the rubber will fall off at some point and you have to replace them then, but they are much safer and easier to walk on when you're off the bike. Especially when it's wet.
The Keo replacement kit was received shortly and it fit perfectly on the bike shoes. It took about 15 min to screw on each.
I've been a Look user since they came out in the early eighties and I switched over to the KEO pedals when they replaced the originals. I like to keep a couple of extra sets of cleats in my garage just in case the ones that I'm wearing become too worn that they disengage too easily and then I can replace them quickly and stay on my bike without first running to the store and buying new ones. The varying degree of rotation works great for me and the large amount of cleat/pedal contact area makes long and hilly rides quite comfortable.
These Grip cleats are a no brainer for me. Now when I unclip and put my foot on the ground there is no slipping. I feel much more secure. I have had a few falls going nowhere doing that. These are great!
I love that ican walk across my kitchen floor in these cleats and not feel like I am ice skating. Much better than the non-grip version!
Purchased as replacements after approx. 6K miles of use. Decent wear overall although the rubber pads on the bottom of the cleats wear down rapidly. Where I typically ride does require frequent clipping/unclipping due to traffic lights. I'm satisfied with the overall life of the cleats but, again, the grip pads could be more robust.
They are expensive, but I really like these, in that, when pushing off to start the cleat does not slip on the road.
