This is a great light for riding Brevets. The light lasts for the duration of my 1200 km ride (within 90 hours).
For longer rides, you can bring along a spare battery.
Also an optional mount can be used to mount the light on the brake boss on the fork
This light has an excellent brightness that mimics daylight very well. I really recommend it. I have used the niterider brand for a long time and I liked this light above all others, I just bought the pwr mountain too !!
My 25 mile commute is mostly in the dark, I wanted a bright light that would last for 2 hours, this light burned for one hour, it has a wide pattern and is not 1000 lumen, I like the mount it is very secure, I like the design, I was just hoping it was what was advertised .
I've had my Knog PWR light for a few months now. I appreciate the quick and secure engagement system. The light feels and has been secure, whether I'm on the road or bouncing on trails. It creates a powerful beam, enabling me to hit single track after dark. Adjustment of brightness is easy, with a quick quarter rotation of the head of the unit. Features a strobe, if you just want to be seen. I have not pushed the limit to see how long the beam lasts on high, nor have I used the power bank feature. That said, I am very happy with this light, thus far.
