Fits well. Very light. Cooler than a lot of helmets.
Great helmet on my second helmet as a replacement from original purchase back in 2015. Try others brands but
l'm back to this particular helmet.
Easiest helmet I have adjusted to, yet. It's quiet, it fits right, everything it's supposed to be.
Have not crashed so cannot comment on that aspect. But.. It is light and very cool. Trust the ratings for this helmet, and they are very good. Also like the white to help stay cool in the summer.
Not as comfortable as previous Giro helmets for me - I have an oval headshape and this one is a little more round than oval in shape. Lightweight, great airflow, loving the upgraded straps. Overall, a very nice helmet with leading edge technology when purchased at a sale price.
The giro helmet was expensive, but what is it worth to keep you brain together. It is light weight and adjusts easily. Glad you had it in stock.
Thank you.
I love everything about this helmet. Great upgrade from other Giro helmets I've had in the past. Amazing fit and so comfortable!
Road - light, stylish and outstanding protection - this purchase was a replacement for one that gave it all for me...
I replace my helmet every four years and found this Giro helmet has everything I need. I especially enjoy the fit, vibrant colors, space to mount a rearview mirror, and innovative MIPS Technology that allows thinner helmet.
Giros best yet
Thought I would upgrade from Synthe in use for a few years. This helmet fits well, is light, and quiet. The only negative that I have is that it is a bit larger in appearance than some other helmets.
Use it for both training and racing. Plenty of ventilation.
I crashed a while back and I wanted to upgrade to a safer helmet. I feel safer with the Giro Aether MIPS because it fits very well and tightens perfectly. It is well ventilated on hot days. It looks dope too.
I've been using a Synthe for the past several years which I liked. I decided to get a new helmet since my Synthe was aging and decided to upgrade to the Aether. I am glad I did as the Aether is a step up in all categories. It is the most comfortable helmet I've worn and cooler than the Synthe. I highly recommend it.
Typical giro fit, looks good, comfortable. I bought for the MIPS protection aspect. Basically a heavier version of the non mips synthe. If you want a mips helmet and giro helmets fit you, then get it.
This helmet is expensive, but worth it. The added protection is there, but with greater comfort - for me. Stylish, comfort, protection; all in one!
I've been riding Giro helmets since 1998. I've always been happy with them. I tend to go to the high end helmets for the ventilation as I over heat easily. I have had Pneumo, and Atmos in the past. I ordered the same size for my new Aether and it is snug before cinching.
Upgraded from Synthe for longish (4-6 hour) road rides. I didn't like the way that the Synthe MIPS materials left imprints on my forehead for an hour and a half after my rides. This helmet doesn't do that and seems to have better ventilation too.
Bought this before a vacation to AZ. Overall great helmet. Fits very comfortably, easy to adjust both on and off the bike. It vents very well and is light. The rubber sunglass holders are great when you want to put your shades on your helmet, no more slipping down. Its speedy but great features and if the safety claims from Giro are accurate then worth it for that investment as well, hopefully never needed to test out.
Very Comfy and A lot of vent.
