Upgraded from Garmin 220 which I have had for many years, primarily for music function so would not have to carry my iphone with me on runs. The GPSrunning functionality is great, similar to the 220. There are alot of extra features and measurements, primarily based on HR, which I have not gotten around to figuring out. Physically, the watch is great, smaller and less clunky then the 220 but the face is clear and easy to see. Battery life has been good, ability to locate signal in NYC for GPS is also good. No complaints.

Music The music function is pretty good, not amazing. As you may have read, you need to wear the watch on your right wrist so that the signal does not cut out with the right side receiver on most bluetooth headphones. Setup with Spotify was relatively easy. However, it does take a while to load musicpodcasts via WIFI from Spotify. I found it easier and quicker to download content via Itunes and then sync with the cable from itunesGarmin Express. However, it must be music that your own or have ripped onto your hard drive. Downloaded podcasts are not a problem. So I have to plan ahead and spend a minute or two downloading content to the watch before my run. Navigating through the menus to listen to music is also a little clunky and requires a lot of button pushes but it works. So i am generally happy, would give an A to the runningGPS functions and a BB to the music. I ran a marathon recently and brought along my phone and wired headphones rather than having to load 4 hours of content on the watch and worry about bluetooth headphonebattery issues.
