Nicest bike computer I've ever owned, does it all and more. Highly recommend it.
I use my Garmin 530 on my road bike and indoor trainer.......I upgraded from a 130 and love the larger screen
I bought this as a replacement for the Garmin Edge 520. Very happy with the choice
The battery life is great and I like the touch screen. I don't have any complaints.
The Edge 830 does everything that I was after in a bike computer. Simple to use and provides great feedback.
Edge 520 is more straight forward bike computer than other touch screen based models. I find touch screen very difficult to use while riding. It was easy to setup with a road bike and a mountain bike. It switches between two bikes with no fuss. The computer recognizes two sets of speed and cadence sensors with no issues. I'm very happy with the choice.
To tell me how fast I am riding and the time riding ant the total difference gone.
I hate to say that I have not had time to learn all it can do! But as a bike computer, it is awesome. Easy to read and customize. Can't wait to start using the navigation components!
Easy to use. Very reliable..user friendly
I like the fact that it has a very long battery life so I can now use my phone as a phone not a tracker.
Used for long distance riding.
Touch screen is clear and easy yo use. Setting the display to personalized settings was simple.
Great upgrade from the 520 which only fault was battery life. Typical Garmin learning curve needed.
Couldn't see the screen very well. Have to keep the back ground light on. Set screen brightness to 7. I can see it fine then. Having a little trouble with cadence sensor disconnecting but I feel confident I can correct this. With the screen light on I had to disable bluetooth to get battery life greater than 100 miles. At 100 miles I have 62 percent battery remaining. I like the out front mount. While bluetooth was on my rides uploaded to Garmin Connect and Stava without any problems. I wear dark sunglasses. Others may not need the screen back ground light on.
great stats and trailforks maps....what else do you need?
Enough features for this novice cyclist. User guide could do better for linking speed & cadence sensors but after-market on-line help is available and very helpful.
I like this product. It does pretty much everything I would want except serve pizza!
I use it every time I ride my bike either on the road or my trainer. And now I am planning to use it on my runs too. So far, I have not seen any flaws yet.
I loved the product, it brings just enough to go out on a bicycle
For most of us this computer has everything that we need
