Replaced a legacy Fizik Antares R1 with the adaptive model on my Cinelli Veltrix. Such a difference on long rides, less discomfort, and getting out of the saddle. I don't find myself shifting around on the saddle as much, and able to maintain more of an aero position for longer periods of time.
The premium paid for this saddle is worth it, if you do long ride, or climbs.
I have tried several different 3d saddles and although they are very comfortable as described, I find them too grippy. The surface texture is like a grippy rubber and inhibits my moving around in the saddle.
I think they would be great for a rider who stays planted in one location.
