First, this is an expensive travel case. 1000$ is not cheap, but with discount, I got it for less than 800$. Not cheap. I already used it once to travel. The only downside is the size. It is humongous, but lightweight. I only removed the pedals and wheels, but did not have to alter my seatpost. I always remove chain and rear derailleur. After flight, it took me 5 minutes to get the bike ready.
One minor critique, I wish EVOC copied Thule ideal of incorporating a repair stand as a frame cradle. Next time I travel, Ill see if I can use the stand from my old Thule in this one
Highly recommended, if you can get beyond the cost and size
The product itself does not come with good instructions but the internet provides enough examples. Getting the bike ready for travel is super easy! Remove the wheels and pedals, mark and lower the seat tube. And that's pretty much it. Make sure to pack your pedal removal tool to re-install them at your destination.
