This is has a comfortable fit and does a great job with keeping your head cool on those hot, summer days. Also, like that this is moisture wicking and keeps sweat from dripping down your head.
This does a great job of keeping perspiration away from your face and eyes. I like that it is big enough to cover the ears and upper forehead. It stays cool and you probably won't notice it when you're wearing it. Note that this is a warm weather cap. I would not recommend it for cold temperatures or for those situations where you're looking to the cap to provide warmth.
I use this occasionally because it really doesn't live up to claims (manufacturer & users) regarding sweat management. For me, this thing does no better than similar products from Pearl Izumi or Buff headgear. This might work for you if you don't sweat much. I recommend Head Sweats for people who sweat a lot.
The De Soto Helmet Beanie works really well. Cycling in hot climates like southern Florida requires keeping the sweat out of your eyes and keeping cool. This works well. One thing - there is a lot of excess cloth at the top for me. It doesn't affect the overall experience, but does make for less than a snug fit.
For hot weather, this is my go to skull cover. The skin cooler material really does work as advertised. The other De Soto skin cooler products are also excellent - I have several of them.
I have been using one of these all season and just bought two more. It is plenty "long" to come down to the brow where it is effective at wicking sweat. Perfect wicking fabric and very comfortable.
Really stretchy so it fits my medium to large head with no discomfort. Does not cause any heat build up whatsoever and keeps sweat from dripping into my eyes.
I haven't been able to test this in searing heat just yet but it feels good, not too tight and it stays in place. I've recently come to appreciate having a helmet liner in warmer weather, this one does not disappoint.
