Haven't had the need to use them as of this date.
It's hard to get too excited about an inner tube. This one has a presta valve with a method of screwing it down to the rim, which I like. It makes inflation more stable. If you use a pump that screws to the valve, you have to be careful not to over tighten it, as you will unscrew the valve as well as the pump when disconnecting. Then you can start all over again! I imagine that would happen with any brand inner tube. Not extravagantly overpriced, It's always good to have a spare tube or two with you on a ride. I have confidence that Continental is not selling any duds to us dudes.
I put these on and haven't had a single flat....yet !! Seriously they were easy to put on and they have held up very well. They loose very little air.I haven't had to put air in the tubes in months. And most importantly to me like I said, I haven't had one flat since I put them on!!
Performed better than expected.
I like the valve stem and valve and the valve does not seem to bend.
I've been using these in 28 mm tires. And they are fine even though they are specified for up to 25mm. No flats in over 2k miles.
Looks to be a high quality tube. Has threaded stem and lock ring
Low puncture rate.
I've Continental rubes and tires for years - in my opinion, and based on my experience, they're bulletproof.
These tubes hold air. But all tubes are only as good as the tires protecting them. Read my other review on Continental GatorSkins. There is no substitute. In Conti we trust.
I've been using these tubes in Continental Gran Prix 4000 All Seasons, 4000S, and now 5000 tires for years. While they're not bombproof (what road tube is?), they provide a good balance of weight and puncture resistance, particularly when coupled with Conti tires. Available in a variety of stem lengths, they're my go-to road tube year round.
My go to road tube. They're lightweight and will actually hold air! Supple and comfortable to ride. I ride 8,000 to 10,000 miles per year.
Great tube with my rig once up and running; I find it a little fussy to install because of its lightness -- easy to catch the tube between the tire bead and rim; a bit of thought to have just the right bit of inflation to seat the tube properly.
Needed tires and tubes for my Vintage Schwinn road bike. Found good value and nice quality.
As long as I stay off glass and nails, these tubes have worked fine. I do find that keeping them inflated just below. The max works best for me.
So far so good. Would buy again.
no complaints, works as advertised and lasts much longer than the REI brand tubes
These tubes fit great and hold up to punishment in my gatorskin tires. Definitely a must have.
Road bike. Excellent quality.
Good tubes, good price.
