I like that they're lightweight, handle well, and offer a high level of durability. The price is a little high for me, but you definitely can tell they're high quality. To save a little money, in the winter I switch to Michelins. They're a little more durable, IMO. Of course, the Continental Gatorskins have them all beat for durability, but the Grand Prix 4000 offer the best balance of performance and durability I've found. I highly recommend them.
These are my go-to road tires, both for everydaytraining and racing Road and TT (for crits I use Michelins they're stickier). Good traction, long-lasting, and pretty easy to seat in a rim compared to what they were just a couple of years ago (no way are my hands stronger than they were).
Occasionally there will be a questionable spot after X number of rides where something has left its mark in the tire, but I've had nothing that affects cornering, ride quality, or flatting-resistance. Almost everything, and again, there are few issues, is superficial and does not go through to the tube. These tires are not soft enough to have grit embedded after each ride like some others (Bontrager R3s, for instance), but are soft enough to not give a harsh ride.
Most of the bikes at races this year sport these tires, I noticed, including the guys that are faster than me (I looked at their tires trying to find any excuse I could use for not winning).
Good tire with good performance and puncture resistance.
This is my 2nd time purchasing the tires. Great service from Nate every time.
Wears very well. Handles good. Getting 2500 miles out of the set I have now with 1 rotation. If you rotate at 500-600 miles you can get more.

Love these tires. I have them on 3 bikes and have never had problems. Great traction in the rain.

These tires seem to last forever! I keep checking the wear indicators but they don't seem to wear. The only time I ever get flats is when they have already gone a couple thousand miles.
Best tire hands Down. Bulletproof.
Got this tire in a 20mm to fit an old back up TT disc. So glad that conti still makes this option as 20mm tires are fading out in the TT world because of RR(rolling resistance) tests. Raced all year long and and a few training rides still super sticky and fresh. Fastest all around tire in my opinion.
First time on these tires. Glad I got em. Roll very fast. Feel very supple. Nice and light. Reflecting strip on sidewall really lights up at night.
Tire rolls very well..have approx 500 miles on them to date and performs well... seem to handle the debis and gravel along our roads here very well
I have been running specialized s-works turbo tires for three years and love the ride ,feel and speed I get from them, but they wear out after about 1200 miles . I bought the continental grand prix s 11 on sale to see if they really preform the way I have heard . After 800 miles, they ride harsher, not as fast , grip pretty well , and seemed to hold up better ,but I will stick to my favorite tire , the specialized turbo
Really like my new tires. Ride is very smooth. I highly recommend to anyone needing new tires to consider getting a set of these.
I've been riding these tires for years for general road riding on several bikes. I bought my most recent pair of Grand Prix 4000 S II to replace a pair of Schwalbe Ones that came stock on a new road bike. Schwable's are also high rated tires but never felt right to me. It's kind of all a matter of preference I suppose, but the Grand Prix 4000 S II always feel like their gripping the road better.
Not as aero as 23's on my wide ENVE rims, but MUCH less abusive to me on the crappy strips of broken pavement that qualify as a road in Houston. I'm running 78psi in them and the ride is sublime!
One caveat is that the bike steers a bit quicker and is a bit more unstable in sprints, but I just need to readjust to that effect.

I normally get 2,000 miles out of these tires. Rolling resistance is great. An important feature is installing tires compliant with tire errors. Unfortunately, finding those arrows can be quite difficult.
Long-lasting, great feel, even stops well in the wet. Not nearly as puncture-resistant as the Gators, but so much stickier.
The gold standard to which all other tires are measured. Great grip and longevity are what you can expect from the conti Grand Prix 4000 S II
