Whats to say - great deal on a great set of tires. Comfortable, fast, low (few) pinch flats compared to everything else Ive ridden.
Tire wears very nicely, I feel very safe on these tires on my high end bicycle

I have settled on the GP4000sII as an excellent tradeoff between road control versus wear. On occasion you will find them in sale in the mid to high 30 dollar range which is an excellent value. Decent rolling resistance for racing but also very comfortable for touring. I get very few flats when running these with standard tubes.

My favorite tire for several years now. Ride quality is great and the durability is fantastic. A previous front racked up 5,800 miles and a paired rear hit 3,000. Catching a BTW sale is a great way to get these tires at a tremendous value.
I think of tires in terms of rolling resistance, grip, puncture resistance, weight, durability, and price. The Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II is my preferred option for an all around tire. The durability, puncture resistance, and price mean it's good enough for training, but the rolling resistance and weight mean it's also good enough for racing. If I could only have one tire, the GP 4000 would be my choice.
I have had two sets of these tires on my BMC Team Machine SLR01 in the last 18 months. They generally last between 3500 and 4000 miles. During that time I have had only one flat tire, and that was largely my fault, as I was running too low pressure and got a pinch flat. I have absolute confidence in these tires under any road conditions. They cling to the road and never lose traction. I wouldn't put any other tire on my bike.

I, and many others, consider this the best road tire around. Since I went from a 23 to a 25 (granted only one season), I've yet to have a flat. Very reliable.
Love these tires. Been using them fro years now. Long lasting as wall a a great performer. I use them for traning, rideing and racing.
Used on my road bike, the tires seem to last for at least for most of the year unless I ride over something really nasty
I have been using this tire for a couple of years now. I can get about 1000 miles of use from the tire. I wish the tire was a little more puncture proof, riding in Southern Utah they have goathead thorns that wreak havoc on tires.
No complaints. Excellent in rain, as well.,
