I have used Conti 4000 for I would say over 20 years. They have always performed and lasted exceptionally well. And there's a lot to be said for a tire that's been around that long!!
ridden well over 10,000 miles on these tires with very few issues and flats. used to use 23's but now prefer 25's. great tire. expensive so I generally look for them on sale.
Two months, two races, and about a 1K mile later... These tires are fantastic. Used mostly on paved roads. Will buy them again.
Perfect tire for year round use. Handles the wet roads found here for most of the year, and then really shines during the couple of months of dry. Range of widths provide an option for all. Does run a little wider than posted dimensions.
Great road tire. Has outlasted any other tire I've owned
The tires are wearing well, grip well and are comfortable.
The tires have great rolling resistance. Have not had a single flat with 1500 miles on new tires. Tires still look brand new.

Ive been using these for awhile now and I am very happy with them. I recently tried the Attacks but the road cut them up bad, probably not the tires fault. I am back to the 4000s though, better karma.
These tires are on my everyday bike and my race bike , Ive been using them for years and the new rendering is better than the old ones which are great
I race all types of road races and train 8-12 hrs a week. This is a great tyre for training and racing. Its light weight, durable, and fast rolling.
Shipping was fast, price was good, they matched the price to another competitor, and Im completely happy
My new Canyon came mounted with these tires, in the 28 width. I run them at 100 psi. , on DT Swiss wheels. Even more comfortable than my Mavic 25s on Ksyrium SLS rims. Ive had one puncture since I started riding the Continentals, maybe at 2000 miles. I did have a very hard time getting the tire off the rim. Vittorias and Mavics are much easier.
There are 2 little wear indicators on these tires. Looks like the rear will last the whole miles. I bought 4 when they were on sale, so Im committed.
I both race and do long distance Randonneuring, so I purchased the 25mm to race and 28mm for the long distance rices. In the past I've had great success with Continental tires. Unfortunately not with these tires, cutting the side wall of the rear tires of each set within 250 miles of use - disappointed.
These are by far the best road tires I've ever ridden. The roads in my area are riddled with debris as a result of all the rain we've had here on the east coast so having tires with extra puncture protection is a must. I realize no tire is completely impervious, but these up your chances of not having a flat.
I ride early mornings so reflective stripe made sense. After about 100 miles I noticed a half inch separation which I reattached with glue. No problems otherwise.
I had previously ridden on Vittoria Open Corsa clinchers. These ride as fast as the Vit's but not as supple. The Vit's are good for a 1500 miles max. and seem to cut very easily. The speed advantage the Conti's provide more than makes up for the less supple ride quality and so far I've experienced no punctures. When on sale I usually buy a pair.
The Gold Standard
These are tough, flats occur like anything else but tend to be very few and far between. They are very hard to mount at first because of stiffness but it gets easier after some use. They are also comfortable on a long distance ride. My only other qualm is after about 2,500 miles or so, they tend to shed some threads fairly regularly though its probably about time to replace them by then.
I bought 2 of these tires. Within a month, I received cutsflats in each tire from stones. I don't believe I will purchase this tire again.
