I bought this bar tape to add some color to one of my old steel bikes I was modernizing with new stem, bars, and shifters. This tape was easy to install and is very supple when riding. I did have to re-wrap the bars after a few weeks of riding (not because of the tape, but because of a brake cable issue). The tape did tear a little where the sticky stripe under the tape contacted the over lapped edge of the tape. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.
The kit includes everything needed to re-tape your bars. It is on the thicker side, and I wrapped my bars on the tight side, making the build even thicker. I mostly ride on the hoods, so I'm usually experiencing the tape when on the drops. The padding is nice, and the grip, combined with my gloves, seems good. I appreciate the added bar width, making the bar easier to grasp and shift positions on while reducing some of the pressure on the hands. Overall a good product. No regrets.
Cinelli cork tape has served me well over the past 30+ years. I can't imagine changing now. An outstanding, reliable product!
Easy to install. Stretches nicely around curves.
This replaced the mint green Lizard Skins bar tape that I previously had on my bike. Love the Cinelli - my new favorite. It's comfortable with decent grip without being a dirt/grime magnet. Will definitely buy again.
Good quality bar tape that has been around the block, but is not out of style. Comes in a multitude of colors, and feels great to touch in any situation.
Superior comfort and grip. Doesn't leave your hands sweaty. My rides average around 50 miles on mostly chip seal. This bar tape truly helps absorb some of the vibration. My hands never feel fatigued even after a 100 mile ride.
This has been my go to bar tape since I started riding in 1995. IMHO..perfect.
Looks great and feels great if you like cushion.
Cinelli Cork is perfect for the classic road bike. Absorbs and is comfortable. The old school Paris-Roubaix racers used to double wrap the drop bars for the cobble stone sections (build by the romans) before gel gloves and 28c
tires. Saw the Paris-Roubaix in 2001 from the back seat of a FDJ car. Bought two rolls one for the caad7 on the trainer and the other for the new Cannondale Caad13 frame set I am building up for RAGBRAI 50TH ! Home made pie and a 500 miles week! Sweet!
This tape provided some nice comfort to my handlebars. Easy to apply and good looking. Provides just enough cushion and grip to keep the hands comfortable and in place.
I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Im very pleased with the quality of the tape. It has a soft and relaxed feel thats helps Cushion the bumps. I would definitely recommend this bar tape to anyone.
I know there are higher-tech, (much) more expensive handlebar tapes out there, but this stuff just flat works. It looks great, right amount of cushion and great grip. Not much else I need from my handlebar tape.
I tend to replace my tape often and this tape is relatively inexpensive and works well. There are some other brands that are stickier (both in terms of grip and the during installation) but this is fine.
Was easy to install and provides great grip. Love the camo color as well with my black bike.
Excellent product. Easy to put on, feels good to the hands.
Hard to beat classic Cinelli cork bar tape - it's easy to install, east to clean and lasts. I like it better than more synthetic variations for staying dry when its hot and I'm sweating.
Product was exactly as advertised color fit and finish perfect
I have this tape in my daily driver and my race bike, I live in the wettest place on earth and the tape work great here
I've had this for a few months now and I really like the cushioning on the tape. It has a high-profile, and does increase the radius of the bars by a few mm noticeably. Does well in wet conditions, drys out pretty quick.
