Well made, powerful, light weight and small, this light is ideal for just having 'along' so that when the sun sets you can see and get home safely. Good battery life, bright, and USB charging make it just about perfect.
200 lumen light is bright enough to ride at night and be seen. Battery drains quickly. Website says high beam will last 2 hours, but it only lasts 1 hour before going dim.
Great performing light, easily moved from bike to bike with the rubber strap. Super value for the price.
For the price was a very good deal. It last for hours ( 6-9) or more without charge.
It's very small and nice-looking, but I have a few problems with it
- The strap doesn't allow for fine adjustment, so unless you want to pull it really tight and risk tearing it, it's a bit loose. I put a spacer from another light under the strap to make it tight enough.
- It's just not very much light, I would hate to have use it as my only light. With another light it works though.
I haven't used it much yet so I don't know how long the battery charge will last.
I tried mounting a Light & Motion light on my helmet, but they are a bit too heavy. The Blackburn Central 200 is perfect for this application. Light and the pulsing mode lasts long enough for several commutes between recharges. I was initially worried about the robustness of the strap and swivel mount, but no issues so far.
Awesome light for urban riding. Easy to attach, easy to remove if you don't trust that it'll be there when ya get back from running into the store.
