Winter cap is thin material, yet quite warm. It fits very nicely under my Giro helmet. (The helmet isn't riding atop a bulky winter cap).
The Assos Winter Cap keeps the noggin warm, and wicks sweat away very effectively. I was impressed how well the cap maintained temperature regulation as the day got warmer. Even at 80 degrees!
