I have used a lot of different brands of chamois cremes but nothing comes close to Assos. It costs a little more but is worth every penny. It lasts longer and has that tingling feeling that just flat out make you feel competitive.
Applies nicely directly to the chamois, keeps things comfortable, and washes out nicely. Very happy with this cream. I wish they offered in small packets so I could take extra on super long rides
Does the job but I find it works best when applied to both the skin and the chamois, I still find myself getting irritated when I only apply this to my skin.
Put it on before a ride, it lasts all day, no chaffing!
Expensive but what's your butt worth in the long run. Great consistency and scent.
Got this as a gift. Highly rated
I use this product to prevent chafing for a more comfortable ride. Well priced and effective.
This is a great product that works well for me. I have used other products that a re cheaper but this has always worked for me and it is worth the extra price
Your behind will thank you for it.
I never used a Chamois Creme until a few years ago. Now I dont ride without using it. Makes a long day in the saddle much more tolerable.
I have more problems than most with the effects of being in the saddle, in part because I put in 16-28 hour weeks on the bike consistently. I have tried most of the major brands and while I hate paying for it, assos is probably my favorite. I should also say that I had been using Hammer, which I liked but it is just a bit too thick and gritty and I reached a day where I could no longer tolerate the smell. I am also currently auditioning Betwixt which has a lot of potential and I may switch to it from Assos. Assos has an almost mousse-like texture, not liquidy like Chamois Buttr. This seems like a relatively ideal consistency for staying on, though I do still re-apply once on a 3 hour ride. It also has no smell and washes out of clothes really well. On the minus side, I can't totally tell, but it might have a little menthol in it, which is not something I love.
Great, albeit a little pricey...but, hey, it's Assos. This stuff is a little thicker than others, but a little goes a long way, so that's why it's in a smaller can. So if you're comparing with another brand that's bigger for less money, just know that this tends to last a similar amount of time.
Having used all sorts of products over the years, I am convinced that this stuff is the gold standard. Earlier this year I veered toward using Mad Alchemy products for a while, but just recently came back to the Assos and am now left wondering why I ever switched in the first place. There's just no comparison. It's not cheap, but can you really put a price on the well-being of your undercarriage?
Very good product effective and not messy. Also very good for dry cracked or blistered hands
Love this product with its slightly warming feeling. Great for our Fall and winter rides but I use it all year!
I use multiple times per week and love the product. If you are looking for a high quality chamois creme that stays where it should and provides great protection, this is the one for you.
Not sticky washes out easy, good product
Assos chamois creme works for me.
I only use a small amount , so the container lasts quite awhile.
It is nice and thick, and I haven't had saddle sores in years.
What more can one ask?
Had biked for several years without using anything like this, but spotted it on a daily deal and figured I'd give it a try. I was used to not using chamois cream so I don't use it all the time, but if I've done some longer rides several days in a row and I notice some discomfort, I'll put some of this on for the next ride and it takes care of things for me. Does give a slight cooling sensation within the first few minutes of applying it, but once I start riding I simply don't notice it, which is what I want. Don't need to use very much for it to work, and since I don't use it all the time I still have about three-quarters left. Since I bought it over a year ago it's been a great value for me! -)
